Inspire 2026

A day for Christian women to feel encouraged, strengthened in faith and reminded that God is not finished with them. Our event is for Christian ladies across all ages and stages whether you've been walking with the Lord for years, or you're still finding your feet. We're believing for a day where women can connect, worship, laugh and leave spiritually refreshed, inspired and full of hope.

We're really pleased to welcome Cath Woolridge as our guest speaker for this year.

Cath is a proud Welsh girl with a huge heart for prayer — she coordinates 24/7 Prayer Wales and is also a regular on BBC Radio 2's Pause for Thought where she is able to share her faith with thousands of listeners. Cath is also the Creative Director of Sound of Wales, who will be leading us in worship for the day.

Alpha

Curious about faith?

What does faith look like for you? Be part of the conversation at Alpha. Join a series of group conversations that freely explore the basics of the Christian faith in an open, friendly environment. At each Alpha session, you’ll be hosted in a small group and watch an episode on a different question of faith – then you have a chance to share your thoughts and hear what others think. You can say anything you like, or nothing at all. Everyone’s welcome. You’re invited, no matter your background or beliefs. It’s free and there’s no pressure to come back.

Bereavement Journey

Grief is hard and death can impact all of life. We are running a free course designed for anyone who has been bereaved at any time, to help them process their grief in a supportive environment. The course runs for 7 sessions with films and discussions on topics including:

• Attachment, separation and loss
• The pain and responses of grief
• Anger and guilt
• Coping with others’ reactions
• Delayed and suppressed grief
• Adjusting to change
• Moving forward healthily
• Faith questions (optional)

We are a group of ordinary people of various ages and backgrounds here at GFMC. Our aim is to build real relationships – with God and with one another – that spill out to impact surrounding communities. We recognise that faith is a journey and we welcome people to come and join us, no matter where they are at with their beliefs. Life can be difficult enough without having to face it alone. We believe that Jesus knows and loves each one of us and that having hope in Him and belonging to His community transforms lives.

Our Beliefs

We believe that God forgives us through Jesus, giving everyone the opportunity for new life. We believe the Holy Spirit guides us and transforms us as we seek to walk closer with God.

As Evangelical Christians we accept the Bible as God's Word. We believe God reveals himself to us, by His Spirit, through the Bible and we endeavour to live following Him.

Every life matters to God. All your life matters to God.
