We are a group of ordinary people from varied walks of life who have come to know Jesus Christ in a real and personal way. We believe that Jesus has given all people the opportunity for new life when they change from a way of life that is not under his control, putting their trust in him alone for life and eternity and living under his lordship.  We believe that all people need to receive by faith this gift of eternal life that is freely offered.

We are part of the worldwide Free Methodist Church, which holds to the mainstream of Methodist understanding stretching back to the founder of Methodism, John Wesley.

As a church we adhere to evangelical Christian belief, holding the Bible in high regard as God’s word, trustworthy throughout, and our authoritative guide to the way we live, day in day out.

We stand within the mainstream of protestant Christianity, believing that faith in Jesus Christ and what he has done for us  on the cross – in dying to take away our sins – is alone sufficient for salvation and eternal life.
